Moms’ Night Out is a true-to-life family comedy about the beautiful mess called parenting. This movie comes out in theaters this Mother’s Day weekend and is a must see for all moms and anyone who knows a mom.
All Allyson and her friends want is a peaceful, grown-up evening of dinner and conversation . . . a long-needed moms’ night out. But in order to enjoy high heels, adult conversation and food not served in a paper bag, they need their husbands to watch the kids for three hours—what could go wrong?
I recently had the opportunity to attend a screening of this film, Moms’ Night Out. And while I’m usually not a big movie fan, this was a movie I was excited to see. With an impressive all-star cast like Sarah Drew from Grey’s Anatomy, Patricia Heaton from The Middle and Trace Atkins from The Lincoln Lawyer, I had a feeling it was going to be a good movie. Little did I know how much I was going to enjoy it. If this tell you anything, I already have plans to go see the movie again on opening weekend!
Not only did the movie make me feel understood and normal as a mom but it also inspired me to do an even better job of being a mom to my two precious daughters. While being a mom is the hardest job on earth this movie shows it is also the very most important job in the whole world.
I’m not planning to tell you more about what happens in this movie. You will have to go see it to find out how the whole Mom’s Night Out pans out on the big screen. I will promise though that you will start laughing as soon as the movie starts and you will continue laughing through the entire film. There are episodes happening in this film that will call for far more than a chuckle or a giggle. I’m talking about some good laugh until you are crying funny scenes.
Call up some girlfriends, your mom, your daughters and anyone else you know and make plans for a fun night out at the movies that you won’t soon forget. Mom’s Night Out hits theaters on May 9. Check this list for a theater in your area that will be showing this film.
