I have made this recipe many times before but always in the oven, today I tried it in the crock pot and loved how easy it was. Often in the oven the sauce gets dark and crispy but it worked perfect in the crock pot. Here is the recipe:
Honey “Baked” Chicken
4 skinless, bone-in chicken breast halves (I used boneless)
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
2 Tablespoons, honey
2 teaspoon prepared mustard
Salt and pepper, optional
Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray and add chicken.
Mix butter, honey and mustard together in a bowl. Pour sauce over chicken.
Cover and cook on Low 5 – 6 hours.
