The items I purchased on this Giant shopping trip include Lucky Leaf pie filling, Hefty plates, Domino sugar and more. These items have a shelf price of $120.92 but after sales and coupons I paid $60.93 and will be getting $1.50 back from SavingStar. I then earned 2700 Gas Extra Reward points for these purchases. On a 30 gallon fill up these points equal $81 of FREE fuel! That means this shopping trip resulted in a moneymaker of $21.57!
If you live close to a Giant, then I encourage you to go give the gas deals a try as they will save you so much money in the long run. Pulling up to the gas pump and not paying anything to fill up is a huge way to save money. The other good thing about these gas deals is that many of them are free or even moneymakers without coupons. So even if you don’t have a printer or do not get the Sunday paper inserts you can take advantage of these deals.
