On this Giant shopping trip I was able to score $94.27 of grocery items including Snyder’s snacks, Eggo Waffles, Musselman’s applesauce and more all for FREE plus a moneymaker of $17 after gas points.
As you can see from the picture I didn’t buy the all gas points items in amounts of six or seven. It is totally fine to mix and match any way you want within each category. Most of the gas deal items I typically buy in sets but this week I wasn’t sure I wanted seven Drumsticks or seven Mama Rosie’s so I mixed and matched to reach seven.
Here is how you can score the same deals at Giant: (through 3/29)
Bought 7 Kellogg’s Eggo Waffles $2.00 each
Bought 4 Mama Rosie’s Pasta $1.50 each
Bought 1 Friendly’s Ice Cream $2.50
Bought 1 Nestle Drumstick Cones $3.50
Bought 1 Klondike Ice Cream Bar $3.00
Bought 6 Musselman’s Apple Sauce 6 pk. $2.00 each
Bought 6 Deer Park Water 6 pk. Sports Bottles $2.00 each
Bought 5 Snyder’s Of Hanover Pretzels $3.00 each
Bought 1 Snyder’s of Hanover Tortilla Chips $3.00
Bought 1 Giant Brand Butter $2.00
Used 2 $1.50/1 Kellogg’s printable coupons
Used 2 $0.75/1 Kellogg’s printable coupons (these both doubled to $1.50)
Used 2 $1/2 Mama Rosie’s printable (use zip 19464)
Used $2 off Giant butter from mailer I received
Used $5/$50 from Giant mailer
Paid $58.00
Used Spend $50, Get $0.30 off per gallon of fuel
Earned $15 in gas rewards from Eggo purchase
Earned $15 in gas rewards from Mama Rosie’s/ice cream purchase
Earned $12 in gas rewards from Musselmann’s purchase
Earned $12 in gas rewards from Deer Park purchase
Earned $12 in gas rewards from Snyder’s purchase
Final price FREE + $17 moneymaker!
This purchase earned me 2500 Gas Reward Points. On a 30 gallon fill up this will get me $75 of fuel. If you want an easy way to figure the amount of fuel you will receive at the pump simply take the points you earned which in this case would be 2500 or $2.50 times the amount of gallons you plan on getting.

Hi. I’m hoping to start shopping at Giant more regularly and doing some gas deals. I have a 1/2 hour drive, so I want to make sure it’s worth my while. I was trying to “follow” your deal above, but couldn’t quite figure out how you came up to 53.00 oop if your original oop w/o coupons, etc. would’ve been 94.27 I interpreted the $5/$50 to mean 5.00 off 50.00 purchase. Maybe I’m misinterpreting that. Can you clarify for me?

Sorry to be confusing the shelf price was $94.27 but then with sales and coupon it brought my total to only $58. I used the shelf price on all items and that is how I came up with $94.27. Does that make sense? Please let me know if you have any more questions. The gas point deals at Giant have been a huge moneysavings for our family and are so worth it.
