The only problem is, fuel doesn’t cost $5 a gallon so they will only allow the discount equal to the amt of fuel.
Coupon Cutting Mom says
You would get $5 in points when purchasing $500 worth of cards. Let’s say the current price of gas is $2.50 per gallon. Using that number, you would then have enough points for two 25 gallon fill-ups. Does that make sense? When you have Giant gas points that are over the current price of gas, it just subtracts the current price amount when you fill up, and the remaining points stay until your next fill up (granted you use them before they expire).
