I shared with my Facebook fans earlier this week that I was excited to do another review/giveaway, but I didn’t share what the item was. Well, here it is Menno Tea!!
Menno Tea is a refreshing bottled tea based on a recipe from Lancaster, PA where it is called meadow tea. Two college students, Hans Weaver and Niles Graber Miller, started the company in 2011 out of their dorm rooms and have since grown well beyond campus. You can head over here to read more of their story.
My family was my eager taste testers. My daughter’s age 3 and 6 years old LOVED this tea. They both said the tea was very yummy for their tummy! My husband and I also thought this was a very tasty drink, although it didn’t taste like the meadow tea we were familiar with. I enjoyed the hint of lemon something I’m not used to in meadow tea. Go ahead and try this tea today, you won’t be disappointed in this refreshing drink.
Local readers, this tea can be found for sale at Shady Maple, Oregon Dairy, New Holland Coffee Company, S Clyde Weaver, Bird In Hand Bakery and Resturant, and Garden Spot Retirement Village.
Niles and Hans very graciously supplied me with some tea to give away to my readers. This giveaway will be open to local readers as the tea comes in glass bottles and I won’t be able to ship it. Each of the three winners will receive 2 8 oz bottles of Menno Tea. The winners will have the option of picking up their product in Ephrata, Pa or Adamstown, Pa area. This giveaway will be open until January 25, 2012 at 5 pm EST.
