Dining On A Dime Cookbook Review and Giveaway

I was excited when Tawra Kellam contacted me about reviewing her book, Dining On A Dime Cookbook.

I was surprised to receive a book with almost 500 pages and 1200 recipes! The authors thought of everything to include in this book. Dining on Dime is so much more than a cookbook it also includes menu ideas, pantry and shopping list, recipes for homemade cleaning products, homemade personal care items, homemade finger paints and other fun kids activities, time and money saving tips and an entire section of homemade gift mixes with instructions.

The food recipes that I tried were easy to make, didn’t require a ton of ingredients and were tasty. The last recipe I tried from this book was the Cinnamon Bread, which took only 6 ingredients and was super easy to mix up. When my daughter and nephew came home from school they couldn’t stop eating it. I think they would have eaten the whole loaf if I would have left. I had to laugh because the whole time they were eating they kept saying, “Delicious, this is so good mom”.

One of my favorite things about this book is that the recipes are far from bland, like some frugal recipes tend to be. The authors make it so easy to feed your family without spending a lot of money.
