On this shopping trip to Giant, I scored 42 grocery items including Clorox, Kraft mac & cheese, Quaker granola bars, fabric softener and more. These items had a regular shelf price of $126.72 but after sales and coupons I paid only $60.66 and then earned 3000 Gas Reward Points. These 3000 points equal $90 worth of fuel so this means I had a moneymaker of $29.34! Who won’t like to go to the gas pump and get $30 worth of fuel they never paid one penny for?
If you live close to a Giant and are not already purchasing gas deal items may I strongly suggest you give it a try? Our family has not paid for fuel at the pump in months and this alone is such a huge way for us to save money. Giant is very generous and allows up to 30 gallons of fuel when redeeming your gas points and they allow you to bring gas cans along to reach the full 30 gallons. With summer coming it is perfect to have cans of gas for the lawnmower, boat, ATV and other items.
The other great thing about these Giant gas deals is that very few of them need coupons. Even if you don’t have a printer or get the Sunday paper inserts it is still possible for you to do these deals and turn your shopping trip into a moneymaker.

I’m curious where in the world you’re able to get some many Sunday paper coupons. 🙂
I did my first “gas deal” last week with the Clorox toilet cleaner and granola bars (no coupons…don’t have access to the Sunday paper, though I print coupons when I can find some).
Maybe you can also clarify for me when it says “limit of 10 deals”–does that mean a limit of ten deals during the whole earning period? Or a limit of 10 days “per set”? Hopefully my question makes sense. 🙂 Thanks.

Sorry, I missed this question until now. First a great site to use for coupons is WizClipz — http://wizclipz.com/?affiliateid=13. Here you can get 10 coupons for only $1.50 shipped to your door. Also ask family and friends who get the paper but don’t coupon for any extra coupons as they are often glad to share.
Congrats on your 1st “gas deals”. Hope you find them as exciting and moneysaving as I do. And when it says a limit of 10 this means a total of 10 sets during that week. So in a Buy 7 category that week you could buy 70 items and then you would not get any points that week after that. If there is another category that week too like a Buy 5 then you could also buy 50 items out of that group. Hopefully that makes sense that it goes by the week and not by the day or the whole gas period. Please feel free to ask if you have anyother questions.
