I have a 7-year old daughter who still struggles to tie her shoes. She can do it but it doesn’t come easy for her partly due the fact that she usually wears shoes that close with velcro. When the package from Loopeez arrived, we not only found a set of cute pink butterfly Loopeez but also a set of nice pink and white bi color teaching shoelaces. These laces are thick and strong and the two colors help kids distinguish the left and right shoelace. 

After lacing her shoes with the new laces, she crossed the laces and tied. Then we took the Loopeez tying aid and placed it on top of the tie we just made. Then my daughter was able to bring the shoelaces through the holes in the Loopeez and make two “bunny ears”.

Then all she needed to do was cross the “bunny ears” over and pull tight to complete the bow. And with the bi colored laces it made it very easy for her complete the bow. And that was it, a very simple way to help her to become a pro at tying her shoes.
