My Favorite Christmas Tradition is baking Christmas Cookies with my Mom, sister-in-laws, kiddos, etc… a close tie would be getting Hot Chocolate at Sheetz (free) sometime Christmas Day! The kids love their own “coffee” cup!

One of my favorite Christmas Traditions is filling up Operation Christmas Shoeboxes. Even though the drop off date is this week, it still sets the mood for me.

I love watching our children be thrilled with the time and traditions they get to do with their Daddy each year during this season. These include going out to cut the tree, decorating it, making Christmas tree cookies, decorating the bushes with lights, decorating the house, and making stollen for Sunday brunch. Being a Navy family, those large chunks of time with their father don’t always come often enough. I participate as well but many of these traditions came from his time with his father.

I enjoy lots of Christmas traditions but it’s fun to make and decorate cookies with my kids. There are always piles of sprinkles on the cookies but they have fun!
