Here is act 11 in our #26acts of kindness. My daughters colored and sent these pictures to their great-grandma the other week. And I’m super happy they took the time to make these pictures as it was the last mail they will ever get to send to great-grandma. Last week their 89-year old great-grandma passed away. While her health had been declining recently it was still rather sudden. We are glad she didn’t have to suffer but she will be missed greatly. She was an elementary school teacher for years and took a great interest in kids, and always took time to ask my daughter what she is learning in school.
If you know of anyone who would enjoy a card or letter or even some flowers, please take a moment and send them something. We never know how long we have our family and loved ones with us.
Take a moment to do a small act of kindness and you will bring happiness to yourself and others. You never know what kind of chain reaction of kindness you may start. I would love to be inspired by the ways you are showing random kindness to others. Please let me know about your acts by leaving a blog post comment, post it on my Facebook wall, or tweet it to me. Feel free to share pictures also.
