Julep Nail Products: Review & Giveaway

I recently had to opportunity to review a Julep Maven box. I was excited when the package arrived, and I opened it to find the products wrapped in a brightly, colored pink bag complete with a ribbon and foam toe separators. I thought the ribbon and wrapping added a wonderful personal touch.

As soon as the package arrived, I had two girls begging for me to paint their nails. What I loved about the Julep nail colors was the fact that at the very most I only needed to apply two coats. The polish was very smooth. It was also fast drying and I was left with a streak-free finish. Considering I applied the polish to little sets of feet who run around outside barefoot and in general are pretty rough on their feet, I was impressed with how chip-resistant this products was. A week later and the paint on their toes still looked good.

Also all of Julep’s nail colors are “4-free,” meaning they don’t contain the carcinogens formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene or DBP.

I can’t forget to mention the Pedi Cream that was also included in the package. You know that wonderful soft feeling your feet have when you get a pedicure? Well this cream delivers that same feeling by hydrating with shea butter and coconut oil.  It promises noticeable results in just 1 to 2 uses and after only one use my feet were considerably softer.
